DAY 36 ~ September 26th
As students came into class, they started right away checking over each other's Section 5 - Operations with Scientific Notation. Then we moved into our last section, Section 6 - Multi-step Equations.
DAY 35 ~ September 25th
Students went right to work on checking each other's Section 4 - Exponent Rules, then went into Section 5 - Operations w/Scientific Notation. Whatever was not finished in class, was assigned for homework.
DAY 34 ~ September 24th
Students began class checking each others first 3 sections of their Study Guide Project. Today's benchmark was to work on Section 4 - Exponent Rules. Again, if they did not finish it in class, then the rest is for homework.
DAY 33 ~ September 23rd
Students were given their Unit 2 Study Guide Project. Today's benchmark was to work on the first 3 sections - Classify Real Numbers, Radicals, and Converting. If they did not finish in class, then it was assigned for HW.

DAY 30 ~ September 18th
Students continued to work on solving various types of multi-step equations - DP, CLT, VBS.
Each class was assigned a specific set of problems for homework.

DAY 29 ~ September 17th
Last night students watched the video: Multi-Step Equations.
Today, we spent the entire class time walking through the various types of multi-step equations that they will encounter:
DP - Distributive Property
CLT - Combine Like Terms
VBS - Variables on Both Sides
I assigned each class period a set of homework problems in their Equation Packet.

DAY 28 ~ September 16th
Students came to class watching the video: Distributive Property & Simplifying Expressions
In class, we practiced that objectives and assigned problems for homework.
Tonight's video: Multi-Step Equations
There is a video: Two-Step Equations that students can look over when they need help.

DAY 25 ~ September 11th
We discussed the process in Adding and Subtracting Scientific Notation. Assigned certain numbers on their blue worksheet for homework.
Wednesday, September 10, 2014
DAY 24 ~ September 10th
We checked over the homework solutions over multiplying/dividing scientific notation. Today, class time was spent showing mastery to the objective: multiplying and dividing scientific notation. Classes were sent home with a few problems to practice over.
Tuesday, September 9, 2014
DAY 23 ~ September 9th
1st period began class with their presentations over their video reflections.
Last night students were to watch the video titled: Scientific Notations. When students came into class they had an understanding on how to multiply/divide/add/subtract scientific numbers. In class, we reviewed the process for multiplying and dividing scientific numbers, then assigned each class specific problems to finish for homework (golden rod color worksheet).
