Today students were given their Study Guide with several practice problems to help prepare them for their test next Wednesday.

DAY 108 ~ January 29th

Students continued to provide which ordered pairs were solutions or not for each equation of the line.

DAY 107 ~ January 28th

We went over the homework from yesterday's objective - writing the equation of the line given two points.

DAY 106 ~ January 27th

Students began their remediation warm ups for the week. Then we continued practicing over writing the equation of the line given two points.

Yep, it's Monday…you know what that means, students worked diligently on the Quiz given in USA TestPrep, and then continued working on their individualized sessions in SuccessMaker.

Students practiced on writing the equation of a line given a function table.

Quiz on Monday over Slope, Exponent Rules, Pythag. Thm.

DAY 103 ~ January 22nd

Students practiced on taking Standard Form, and solving for 'Y', and 'X'….

DAY 102 ~ January 21st

Students continued working on converting Standard form equations into Slope/Intercept form, and solving for y, as well as graphing using Intercepts only.

DAY 101 ~ January 20th

Students focused on Pythag. Thm. during warm ups for remediation practice.

Today, we discussed Standard Form objectives - graphing using only intercepts.

DAY 100 ~ January 16th

Students turned in their remediation practice (warm-ups) from Semester 1 objectives.

We continued practicing over Slope/Intercept Form objectives.

Students continued working hard on Slope/Intercept Form objectives.

DAY 98 ~ January 14th

Students practiced how to apply Slope/Intercept Form graphically.

DAY 97 ~ January 13th

Students continued on remediating S1 objectives during their Warm-ups.

Today, we discussed Slope and Intercept Form.

Math Lab MONDAY !!!

Students completed a benchmark quiz over Slope, then they worked on their individualized sessions in SuccessMaker.
Students were assigned a video: Slope-Intercept Form for homework.

DAY 95 ~ January 9th

Students continued practicing to find slope using the formula, and applying it graphically in order to prepare and study for Monday's Quiz!

DAY 94 ~ January 8th

Students continued to practice solving for slope using the formula. Then students found slope graphically.

DAY 93 ~ January 7th

Students worked on Warm-up #22, and went over HW from last night.

Today students continued to practice using the Slope formula when given 2 coordinates, and students were to finish their CW for HW.

DAY 92 ~ January 6th

Students began class wiring on their Warm-up #21 to help with their remediation standards from S1 Exam data. After going over the warm-up, we discussed what slope is and how its steepness is measured. Then students practice applying the Slope Formula, and HW was given.

Welcome back students!!

Being a Monday, students started off the New Year working on their SuccessMaker sessions. In addition to that, I gave students their Unit 5 SSS Packets and assigned their first video: Slope & Rate of Change for tonight for Homework.
