DAY 58 ~ October 29

At the beginning of class, we discussed the Map Activity since students had some questions. I gave them some time class to finish and turn in the project. Then we moved on to Volume - Cylinders. I assigned a few homework problems to practice.

DAY 57 ~ October 28th

Today, students began their Map Activity Project to apply the Pythagorean Theorem to Real World applications.

DAY 56 ~ October 27th

Students took a Benchmark Quiz over The Pythagorean Theorem. They had 2 attempts at the quiz, and I took the higher grade.

DAY 55 ~ October 24th

Today students continued to review ALL of the objectives of The Pythagorean Theorem in order to prepare for their QUIZ on Monday.

DAY 54 ~ October 23rd

Students applied the Pythagorean Theorem within the coordinate plane to find lengths of various line segments.

DAY 53 ~ October 22nd

We checked over homework for the Rectangular Prisms and Cubes. Today, we continued with applying the Pythagorean Theorem in 3D figures focusing on Cylinders and Cones.

DAY 52 ~ October 21st

Students practiced applying The Pythagorean Theorem to 3D figures - Cubes, Rectangular Prisms.

DAY 51 ~ October 20th

Students are working on their OAS Benchmark Test for Units 1 - 2. After they finish the assessment, they will complete their session of SuccessMaker.

Students explored the CONVERSE of the Pythagorean Theorem using my 360 math!!

Students explored their own real world problem using the Pythagorean Theorem in a 3D object.

DAY 48 ~ October 15th

Today students experienced solving real world problems using the Pythagorean Theorem.

DAY 47 ~ October 14th

Students began Unit 3 today. Last night students watched the video: Pythagorean Theorem.
Today, we are focusing on finding a missing side length of a right triangle.

Students took a Q1 Practice Exam in order to identify their strengths and weaknesses to prepare them for their Final Exam on MONDAY.

DAY 40 ~ October 2nd

Students continued to work on their Unit 2 Test Corrections to earn back partial credit.

The Test Corrections are now due on MONDAY, October 6th.

DAY 39 ~ October 1st

I went over the Unit 2 Test, and then gave students their ACE templates in order to start the Test Correction Process.

Test Corrections will be DUE on Friday, October 3rd.
